I didn’t feel like posting yesterday because I wasn’t feeling that great.
Not that I’m feeling any better today, but I felt like I needed to write here.

As the title reads, I’m deeply frustrated, about my health.
Every day now, at some point, I’m experiencing problems breathing.
While it can be really scary at times, it’s also frustrating as hell.
Instead of being able to go outside and do stuff, it completely zaps my energy and my desire to do anything.
It seems all I want to do is curl into a ball and just enjoy the amount of air that I can get.

The crappy part is that I have tons of stuff coming up.

— Some of my Wife’s Family’s coming this Weekend.
— My Wife & I are heading to WWE Smackdown on Tuesday.
— In between those things, I’m training new Attendants as well.
— Deal with new Attendants working alone, which can be stressful.
— Plus, I also have to meet with Staff at Bluesfest soon to discuss Wheelchair Accessibility, as I’ve been doing for the past few years now.
— Canada Day, July 1st.
— Bluesfest in July.

Did I mention that my sanity has to remain intact for most of those things?

Now it’s time for some good news…

I’m happy to report that this Saturday, the Host of LOL will be discussing me.
I’m not exactly sure what he’ll say, but I’ve sent him a few things related to my Comedy.
You can catch the show on CBC Radio One, this Saturday at 6:30 pm Eastern.
To find out how to tune in and check it out, please go to http://www.cbc.ca/laughoutloud/ for more information.
If you can’t catch the original broadcast, it will be on the CBC site shortly after the show ends.

Congratulations to the Montreal Canadiens on beating the Pittsburgh Penguins.

My #1 Hockey Team is the Ottawa Senators, but since we’re out, I’m cheering for Montreal.
I was a huge Habs fan when I was a kid, and I actually met many of the Players.
I met Patrick Roy, Guy Charbonneau, Chris Nylan, and many others.

Well that’s it for now.

Last night, I watched the Montreal vs Boston game. Montreal lost 2-1 in overtime. I’m telling people that IF Ottawa loses, I’ll be cheering for Montreal. I grew up a Habs fan and was lucky enough to meet many of the players while I lived in the hospital. At the time, they were the nearest NHL team. I’m also a fan of the City itself and my Wife was born there. As you can see, I have ties to the City in a few ways.

Meanwhile, my beloved Ottawa Senators trail their series with Pittsburgh 2-0. News surfaced this afternoon that Jason Spezza will return for tonight’s game and perhaps Daniel Alfredsson as well. This is obviously good news for the Sens, but they need to start shutting down the Penguins defensively. They also need to start scoring like we all know they’re capable of. Most of all, they need to get their heads out of their asses quick.

In other news…

Well, not much to be honest.

Alright, so this will be an actual post.

Yesterday, the Physio Therapist came by to beat my Chest. Chest Physio literally consists of someone pounding all over your Chest. The theory is that it loosens up mucous so it comes out easier. It doesn’t really hurt unless the person hits too hard. If that happens, yeah, it can be painful, but I’m pretty tough.

A little while later, I got suctioned. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned what that is so here goes. Suctioning involves putting a thin tube down my neck. The tube is attached to a machine that acts like a vaccum cleaner. The machine suctions mucous out from my lungs. It sucks (literally) but it’s one of the things that keeps me alive.

After I got suctioned, I suddenly had a blockage. Sometimes it’s serious and sometimes it’s just really annoying. This time it was semi serious, but subsided. It kept returning off & on for the next few hours, but it eventually came out.

When this happens, I get less air and end up feeling mentally foggy for the rest of the day and normally a headache too. Needless to say, it’s not overly fun for me.

I watched the Senators game, at least as much as I could. It was a close game, at least for a little while. Ottawa fell apart near the end and Pittsburgh won 5-3. They now lead the best of 7 series 2-0 and the next game’s Monday night here in Ottawa.

Tonight, my Wife & I are heading out to Dinner for our 4th anniversary. I’ll be back here tomorrow though.

Last night was great. As long as I ignore the fact that the Senators loss 4-0 to Pittsburgh in Game 1 of their playoffs series.

I called in sick for my show and had it changed to next week instead. It just means that I gotta pull double duty with Boccia and then my show that night, but I don’t care.

After my Wife returned from work yesterday, we spent some time together before the game started, which was wonderful.

By the time I turned the game on, it was 2-0 for Pittsburgh heading into the 2nd period. Not good.

This Weekend, we’ll be exchanging gifts and heading out to Dinner. Just like the first time we met, it’s supposed to rain all weekend.

I forgot to mention yesterday about the movie we saw on Tuesday night. I won 4 passes to see a screening of Sea Monsters. The movie was pretty neat. They’re were time where I felt like I was underwater.

After the movie, we walked home with a few pit stops along the way, including a stop at Tim Horton’s. We shared a Hot Chocolate, which helped me warm up.

After that, we watched Beauty & The Geek and that was it.

As for tonight, who knows what’s on tap.

I headed to Walmart today. I have a love/hate thing for Walmart.

A new Super Walmart opened up so I checked it out. The ride itself took just over an hour, which was really annoying. By the time I got there, I wanted to return home.

The freakin place is HUGE and even has a Grocery Store in it.
I spent about two hours going up and down the aisles.

People can be pretty dumb when it comes to getting out of my way. I give people two options if they’re in my way, move, or be moved. Things can be interesting when you drive a 500+ pound powered wheelchair. I do my best not to hit people, but sometime it’s unavoidable. On the other hand, sometimes I WANT to run over people, but I hold back.

If you want to piss off Walmart Shoppers and have a blast at the same time, here’s a tip.

Go with a friend. Grab two of those Scooters that they have. Race around the Store in them and if anyone asks, just say you’re doing the Walmart Indy and the winner gets a new Wheelchair. This also works if you’re in a Wheelchair already. If any of you actually do this, I want Pictures or a Video of it.

When I was Single, I’d often go to Bars or Clubs and get hammered. Driving home was often challenging, but I never got hit or anything and never got pulled over. I’d be curious to see a Cop do a Breathalyzer test on me while I’m using a Ventilator 24/7 to breathe. Just imagine the Cop’s face when I told him that.

So as for Walmart.

I bought some Shirts for Summer, & Mrs Doubtfire on DVD. Next week is my 4th Anniversary for my Wife & I. I bought a few things for that, but I’m not gonna say what right now.

I’m really not liking the new WordPress Dashboard. For one thing, they removed the word count thing. This may sound odd, but I like knowing how many words I typed in a post. I can’t really explain why, I just do. I’m sure there’s more things about it that I’ll uncover as time goes on. They should at least give people the option to use “Classic” Dashboard as well.

This is what happens when you give Nerds Red Bull.

So the Ottawa Senators loss last night, but managed to make it to the Playoffs. They pulled a Homer. Let’s see how well they do.

Well, that’s all for now.

So I logged on and I see that WordPress changed our Dashboard.

It’s not bad I guess.

Anyways, it’s do or die night for the Ottawa Senators tonight against Boston. If Ottawa wins, their spot in the playoffs is secure.

Last night was a great game except for Alfreddson and Mike Fisher’s injuries. Tonight’s game should be interesting. It’s almost game time.

I’ll return soon.

So one person commented on my last post.

I guess that means I’ll decide for myself. I’m not sure when. Perhaps I’ll never tell you people about my next Blog.

Muhahaha

Anyways, the Sens beat the Leafs 8-2. I watched the game at a Movie Theatre, which was pretty fun.

Happy April Fools Day.

Spring finally arrived here today in Ottawa. I just stepped out onto my Patio for the first time this year. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to start going out more very soon.

Speaking of outings, tomorrow’s Boccia night and Thursday I’m heading out to watch the Sens vs Leafs game at the Movie Theatre.

Speaking of the Ottawa Senators, tonight they play Montreal. There’s only 2 more games after tonight and if Ottawa doesn’t win at least one game, they’ll miss the Playoffs for the first time in 12 years. Here’s hoping that Ottawa can go on.

So yesterday was pretty long for me.

Most of you know that I was at the Rehab twice yesterday. Yup, I’m a Druggie. I’m a Slave to Gummi Worms. Mmmm worms.

Just kidding

I went to the Doctor and then returned three hours later to play Boccia. As I left my place, I ran into my Wife (not literally) and she decided to tag along. She got to see where & who I spend my Wednesdays with.

After I practiced a while, I played a few games. I won 1 out of 3 games against him. Not bad if I say so myself. Shortly after that, we returned home so I could watch Moment Of Truth.

The rest of my night was spent relaxing in front of my TV & PC.

There’s a hockey game tonight between the Ottawa Senators & Buffalo Sabres. If Ottawa wins tonight, they seal the deal with a spot in the playoffs.

So last night, we watched Enchanted on DVD.

I gotta admit, it’s not bad. The singing was a bit much, but the rest was good. If you’re looking to score points with your sig other or watch a good Family movie,  you should check out Enchanted.

I had another Tim Hortons Coffee today and played roll up the rim. So far I’m 0-2 this year, but I’m still hoping to win.

Big Hockey game tonight between Ottawa & Toronto and I’ll be parked in front of my TV for it. I’ve been to Toronto several times and I really like it there, but I hate the Leafs.

Toronto also holds a special place in my heart because that’s where I proposed. I did it in our Hotel Suite in my boxers.

It was really hot and sexy, trust me.

My day started off at 10 am, which is early for me.

I headed downstairs to get my ride, which was actually waiting for me which is extremely rare. It just so happened that my Wife was heading out at the same time, so she got in my ride as well.

My first stop was Tim Hortons to grab a Coffee. I didn’t win anything in their “roll up the rim” contest, but the Coffee was damn good as always.

We sat down for a few minutes before we went our seperate ways to do errands.

I bought Coffee Beans (Sumatra) to have at home, Coffee flavoring, a new Ottawa Senators Coffee mug, Kleenex, Razor Blades, Q-Tips, Ottawa Senators Scarf.

I’m set for awhile, including the NHL Playoffs.

After I returned home, I did Laundry.

I plan on relaxing tomorrow until we head out to see The Bank Job.

I had a show last night.

The audience was pretty tough. A few Comedians even got booed after their jokes or no laughs at all. As for me, I was on near the end, which isn’t always a good thing. I managed to pull through though and the crowd seemed to warm up to me. I even managed to throw in a new joke, which seemed to go over well.

I watched my newest guilty pleasure. You may know the show, The Moment Of Truth. Last week, I posted my thoughts about it. One of my readers left a comment summing it up pretty good by saying it’s like a car accident. You don’t want to look, but you just can’t help it.

Amen

There’s a Hockey game tonight between the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens. I was a big fan of Montreal when I was a kid and got to meet many of the players. Now, I’m 100% an Ottawa fan. My Wife is from Montreal, but doesn’t really follow Hockey.

This Sunday marks my 14th Anniversary of living on my own. For those unaware, I spent the first nineteen years of my life living in a Hospital with other kids. On March 16th, 1994, I moved into my own place and haven’t looked back since. I’m sure I’ll write more about it this weekend.

That’s all for now, blog fans.

Until next time.

We had a good time.

We went to East Side Mario’s. I have problems chewing, so I mostly had Wine. I think it was called Yellow Tale. It was pretty damn good. We window shopped in the mall for a bit and headed home.

I heard that The Ottawa Senators beat Pittsburgh 5-4. Hopefully this is the beginning of something good again.

I woke up this morning with Stomach problems. I’m not really sure what’s going on. My Diet is pretty consistant, so I have no idea what’s happening.

Today is my Wife’s Birthday. We were supposed to go out for Dinner tonight, but I wasn’t able to get a ride. Perhaps that’s a good thing considering the way I’m feeling today.  We’re gonna try again on Saturday night. Hopefully it’ll go better then.

Tonight’s the first game for The Ottawa Senators since rehiring Brian Murray as the Head Coach. The game is being broadcasted on Pay-Per-View, so I won’t be watching it. If I’m home, I may listen to it on the radio or just go to nhl.com.

In other news, well not a whole lot. I’m not feeling 100% so I think I’ll end this post right here.
