Last time I posted was on Wednesday, just before using my new Ventilator.

The first night was pretty rough. It kept beeping every few minutes, which meant i got almost no sleep that night. The next day was pretty much a write-off.
I went out for about an hour to try to wake up, but it didn’t really help.

Later that night, I had a surprise visit from two friends of mine, Ashley & Cedric.
They both used to look after me for awhile, and we’ve stayed friends. My Wife & I even attended their Wedding a few years ago, which was pretty fun.
Anyways, I hung out with them for about an hour, which woke me up, and cheered me up.

Thanks guys

I was pretty tired by the time I went to Bed, so I slept like a baby.

Personally, I never understood that saying.
Babies poop, pee, and usually cry & scream at night. I don’t cry & scream, but ok whatever.

Anyways, the next day, I stayed home, but hung out with my Wife that night.

Saturday was a very busy day for us, but we had a blast.

Our first stop was Expresso Cafe, so I could grab an Espresso.
From there, we headed to La Petite Mort Gallery, which is a small Art Gallery in Ottawa.
They’re running an Exhibit, and my Wife knows one of the featured Artists.

Things got interesting.
A few days ago, I emailed the Gallery to see if they were Wheelchair Accessible.
The guy said they had a Ramp, but it was stored in the Basement, and to let them know when I was coming, and they’d get it out.

Well, they put the Ramp out for me when we arrived. It looked pretty steep though, and I didn’t want to try.
The Guy brought out two Sculptures which were made by my Wife’s friend.
One happened to be a Penis, and the other one was a Vagina. So there I was in the middle of the Sidewalk with a Penis & a Vagina on my tray. The whole time, we’re just talking away about them.

After a few minutes, we headed off.
Special thanks to the people at La Petite Mort Gallery for showing me those pieces.

From there, my Wife and I went into a few Stores in the Market on our way to get Gelato.

After the Gelato, we headed to the Rideau Centre for a bit.
My Wife bought me a Starbucks Card, and put $10 on it.

We headed home for a bit to rest up before we headed to the Greekfest.

We arrived there shortly before The Zorba Show.
The Zorba Show is where people dance, break plates and glasses while getting drunk on Ouzo, which is Greek Booze.
I should also mention that part of the show involves them dancing in the middle of a fire circle.
It’s insane!

Speaking of Ouzo, I had three shots of it, and it’s pretty good, perhaps too good.

After the show, they invited everyone to dance, and sure enough we did.

At one point, I got stuck in the middle of a dance circle, so I just started dancing while I was in it. I wish I got that on Video though. It was pretty funny.

Trying to dance while driving a 500 pound Wheelchair is pretty hard, especially after having three shots of Ouzo, but I managed to avoid running anyone over.

We headed home awhile later, but we had a blast though.
OPA!

As for today, I had Coffee with my Wife. She tried to make Espresso with her Espresso Maker, but it tasted more like Coffee. It was still pretty good.

After that, I did Laundry.
Tonight, I’m heading out to watch WWE Summerslam.

As for this Week, besides the Meeting on Tuesday Morning, no real plans.
My Sister & Nephew arrive on Thursday, but I probably won’t see them until Saturday Morning.

I might go to the Ex on Thursday. The Ex is our annual Fair.

That’s about it.

On Tuesday, my Wife & I attended a LIVE Taping of WWE Smackdown.
This was my first one in at least 6 or 7 years, and this was my Wife’s first time at a LIVE WWE Event.
In all honesty, she was a Trooper about the whole thing.
She even made a Sign for it.

If I knew how to post a pic here, I would, but I forget.

Anyways…
I considered writing Spoilers for this Week’s Smackdown, & Superstars shows for various Wrestling Websites, but I can’t write stuff down, and I actually wanted to enjoy the show.

So, I’ll just discuss what we did, because frankly, this is my Blog, and I’m hoping you’re interested.

Even though the show wasn’t starting until 6:45 pm, I wanted to get there early to see if I could meet some of the Wrestlers as they arrived.

We got to the Scotiabank Place around 2:30, and we headed to the back of the Arena.
By the time we got there, a few were already there with the same idea.
We took a few pics, including one with me holding a fake Title Belt that a guy paid $300 for.

As it turned out, I only got to meet one person, and he no longer wrestles.
I met the Host of WWE NXT, and Smackdown Commentator, Matt Striker.
He was really nice. We took a pic together, and then did an Autograph for me.

We left that Area around 4, and headed to the Y to use the Bathroom.
I’ve met a few Wrestlers there before, so we waited around for a bit before heading back outside to the back.
Still, no luck, and after awhile, we gave up.

We headed to the front of the Arena.
We noticed that The Score (Sports TV Channel) was having a Trivia Game.
Being a fan of free stuff, I went for it.

My Wife spun the Wheel for me.
As luck would have it, it landed on a Sports question, instead of a question about WWE.
I was kinda worried cause I’m not really a Sports Buff, but I didn’t give up.

The guy asked “How often is the World Cup held?”.
I responded “Every four years” which is the right answer.
I walked away with a The Score Water Bottle and a grin on my face.
From there, we headed inside.

Our first stop was the Souvenir Stand.
I wasn’t sure what to buy. I wanted a shirt, but nothing overly embarassing.
In the end, I bought a Rey Mysterio TShirt, & my Wife got a Kofi Kingston Necklace.

By this time, my Wife wanted to eat, so we headed to Bert’s.
I decided to just get a Beer, and my Wife had a Wrap or something.
By the time we were done, it was show time.

Once we were seated, I was REALLY surprised at how small everything was.
Normally, when I go to a WWE Event, I get Floor Seats, which is awesome.
I didn’t bother trying to do that this time, so we sat in the 200 Level.

I still had a good view, but I’m definitely gonna try to get Floor Seats next time.

The Show ended just before 10:30 pm, and my ride wasn’t scheduled for thirty minutes.

The place cleared out pretty fast, and we were one of the few left.
We didn’t get home until 12:30 am.

All in all, we were gone 10 and a half hours.
It made for a very long day, but I had fun though.

I really hope that they show my sign this Week on Friday Night Smackdown.
A friend of mine told me that she could see my sign from her Seat on the floor.
Hopefully the Cameras saw it too.

I didn’t feel like posting yesterday because I wasn’t feeling that great.
Not that I’m feeling any better today, but I felt like I needed to write here.

As the title reads, I’m deeply frustrated, about my health.
Every day now, at some point, I’m experiencing problems breathing.
While it can be really scary at times, it’s also frustrating as hell.
Instead of being able to go outside and do stuff, it completely zaps my energy and my desire to do anything.
It seems all I want to do is curl into a ball and just enjoy the amount of air that I can get.

The crappy part is that I have tons of stuff coming up.

— Some of my Wife’s Family’s coming this Weekend.
— My Wife & I are heading to WWE Smackdown on Tuesday.
— In between those things, I’m training new Attendants as well.
— Deal with new Attendants working alone, which can be stressful.
— Plus, I also have to meet with Staff at Bluesfest soon to discuss Wheelchair Accessibility, as I’ve been doing for the past few years now.
— Canada Day, July 1st.
— Bluesfest in July.

Did I mention that my sanity has to remain intact for most of those things?

Now it’s time for some good news…

I’m happy to report that this Saturday, the Host of LOL will be discussing me.
I’m not exactly sure what he’ll say, but I’ve sent him a few things related to my Comedy.
You can catch the show on CBC Radio One, this Saturday at 6:30 pm Eastern.
To find out how to tune in and check it out, please go to http://www.cbc.ca/laughoutloud/ for more information.
If you can’t catch the original broadcast, it will be on the CBC site shortly after the show ends.

Congratulations to the Montreal Canadiens on beating the Pittsburgh Penguins.

My #1 Hockey Team is the Ottawa Senators, but since we’re out, I’m cheering for Montreal.
I was a huge Habs fan when I was a kid, and I actually met many of the Players.
I met Patrick Roy, Guy Charbonneau, Chris Nylan, and many others.

Well that’s it for now.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day Weekend.

On Sunday, my Wife and I went Shopping and I managed to buy two pairs of Pants for $50. I think that’s a pretty good deal.

Today, (Monday) my Wife and I checked out the Labor Day Parade here in Ottawa. Neither of us have ever been to it or even really heard about it before, so we were both curious.

Basically, it was different Workers being pissed off about unfair treatment at work. I always thought Parades were supposed to have happy people celebrating, but apparently not.

After they passed us, we decided to head to the Park where the Parade ended. There was a free BBQ, but we didn’t eat. We stayed for a few minutes just to check it out. The BBQ was at McNabb Park, where I used to go as a kid for Day Camp. I haven’t been there for 20 years, even though I pass by it often on the way home.

By this time, I was starting to melt like a Cripsicle (Crip Popsicle), so we decided to get an Iced Coffee. We went to Tim Horton’s, but they don’t make it. They just have Ice Caps, which don’t exactly agree with me. I guess the idea of putting Ice Cubes in Coffee is a wacky idea at Tim Horton’s. Just like the idea of hiring Staff there that can be understood, also seems like a pretty wacky idea.

But hey, I’m unemployed, what do I know?

We continued our journey in search of Caffinated Heaven, and we found Starbucks.

Ah Starbucks

Starbucks, Starfucks
The first Coffee Shop, I see opened today.
I wish I may.
I wish I might.
Need a Gasoline filled Coffee made just right.

We got an Iced Coffee and had it outside.
Afterwards, we headed down behind The Supreme Court Building to soak up some more sun.

We headed home shortly afterwards.
All in all, we were out in the sun for over three hours.

Tonight, I’m gonna watch WWE Monday Night Raw.
Tonight’s special guest Host is none other than Bob Barker!

That’s gonna be odd to see, but hopefully he does a good job.

I admit that I still watch The Price Is Right, even though Drew Carey’s the Host.
It just isn’t the same without Bob Barker, but at least it isn’t Rosie O’Donnell.
She was rumoured at one point to replace Bob Barker.
Yikes!

Well, tomorrow I’m off to Walmart, which is always fun beyond belief.

That’s it for now.

Thanks for reading.

The Tag Team Match got moved to the pre-show, so none of us saw it. I do know that the Colons won. I was correct about that one.

Now let’s see what I got wrong.

CM Punk won the MITB Match for the second year in a row.

Santino Marella dressed as a woman named Santina and won the 25 Diva Battle Royal. He/she is now known as Miss Wrestlemania.

Chris Jericho beat Jimmy Snuka/Roddy Piper/Ricky Steamboat by pinning Steamboat. After the match, Mickey Rourke knocked out Chris Jericho.

Rey Mysterio defeated JBL to become the new IC Champion.

Triple H defeated Randy Orton to keep the WWE Title.

I was right about everything else.

It’s that time of year again, wrestling fans. It’s time for Wrestlemania. That means that it’s also time for me to make my predictions about what’s going to happen on the show.

Chris Jericho vs. Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Rowdy Roddy Piper w/Ric Flair For Chris Jericho to win, he has to defeat all three of the legends. For the legends to win, they have to defeat Chris Jericho just one time.

Alright, so in my opinion, the WWE dropped the ball on this one. Most fans (including myself) were expecting/hoping Stone Cold Steve Austin would face Chris Jericho in one final match. This would be fitting considering that Austin will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this weekend. It could’ve been like the Ric Flair/HBK match from last year, but with Austin winning in his home State of Texas. Instead, we get to see Jericho take on three legends.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of Snuka, Piper & Steamboat, but this isn’t the 80’s. I’m pretty sure they’re not as good as they were back then. Even though, the kid in me will be happy to see them appear. Chris Jericho is going to have to work really hard to make them look good.

Rumors are still floating around that Mickey Rourke will be there and that probably means he’ll be a part of the ending.

Prediction: Mickey Rourke punches Chris Jericho out and Ricky Steamboat gets the victory. I should point out that Ricky Steamboat is also going to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this weekend. I still have hope that Austin will somehow get involved as well.

The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

This one will be good, possibly match of the night. There’s not much to say about this. The result is pretty predictable, but the road to it should be damn good.

Prediction: Undertaker pins HBK to keep his Wrestlemania undefeated streak alive for another year.

Extreme Rules Match: Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy

This is another match that has the potential to steal the show. Wrestling fans know that both of these guys take HUGE risks in their respective matches, especially when they were a Tag Team. With this being Wrestlemania, an Extreme Rules Match, and a sibling rivalry, they will definitely be going all out.

Prediction: Matt Hardy will get the upset victory in a modern day version of Bret Hart VS Owen Hart.

25-Diva “Miss WrestleMania” Battle Royal: Known Participants – Melina, Maryse, Mickie James, Gail Kim, Michelle McCool, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Alicia Fox, Kelly Kelly, Maria, Eve Torres, Katie Lea Burchill, Beth Phoenix, Layla El, Rosa Mendes, Candice Michelle, Natalya Neidhart, Jillian Hall, Tiffany, Sunny, Torrie Wilson, Molly Holly, Victoria and Jackie-Gayda-Haas

The winner of this will be crowned Miss Wrestlemania. While I’m looking forward to seeing some of the older names, I could really care less about this. In a perfect world, Trish Stratus would be involved and go on to win, but as far as we know, she won’t be there.

Prediction: Oh, I don’t know. Let’s throw a dart and see where it lands. I’m gonna say that Sunny somehow wins.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match: CM Punk vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Christian vs. Finlay

The annual MITB Match returns and this is typically one of my favorite matches every year. I’m sure this one will be no different. What I don’t get is why is Mark Henry involved? I hate to say it, but I’m not really sure if he’ll even be able to climb the ladder.

Prediction: I believe that Shelton Benjamin will FINALLY win the MITB. Every year, he manages to steal the match with his insane moves, but has fallen short of winning the big one. This year, he’ll climb the ladder, grab the briefcase, and cash in a World Title shot within a year of winning.

Winner Takes All – WWE Tag Team Titles vs. World Tag Team Titles – Unified Tag Team Title LUMBERJACK Match: The Miz and John Morrison © vs. Carlito and Primo Colon

I really don’t get why they made this a Lumberjack match, but besides that, this should deliver. These two teams have been having outstanding matches for the past few months. For those that don’t know, a Lumberjack match involves various wrestlers standing at ringside throwing the participants back into the ring if they get tossed out or try to escape.

Prediction: Carlito & Primo Colon go on to win.

IC Title Match: JBL © vs. Rey Mysterio

I’m happy to see the IC Title being defended at Wrestlemania, even if it is JBL. There’s not much more to say about this.

Prediction: JBL wins

World Title Match: Edge vs. The Big Show vs. John Cena

I don’t see why they decided to involve The Big Show in this match. I’d rather see Cena VS Edge 1 on 1 and have The Big Show be in the MITB Match. Even if he’s not able to climb that ladder, it’d be worth it to see him knock out a few people in that match.

Prediction: Cena wins the Title.

WWE Title Match: HHH © vs. Randy Orton

These two have been tearing eachother apart since Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble in January. At one time or another, Randy has attacked Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, & HHH. Needless to say, it’s been a heated rivalry with everyone involved.

Prediction: Randy Orton will win the Title when at least one of the McMahon’s either turns on HHH or their assistance backfires.

Well, there you have it.

As for me, I’ll be watching the show at a local Movie Theatre. I’ll be posting the results of my predictions shortly after I get home.

The show is this Sunday at 7 PM Eastern on Pay Per View.

Enjoy the show!

Match of the night for me was Ric Flair VS Shawn Michaels. Not only was it a great match, but it was also emotional. So long, Ric Flair and thanks for the memories.

There was a tech problem and we all missed the first ten minutes. Each of us received a Coupon to attend a “Special Event” for free.
