Last time I posted was on Wednesday, just before using my new Ventilator.

The first night was pretty rough. It kept beeping every few minutes, which meant i got almost no sleep that night. The next day was pretty much a write-off.
I went out for about an hour to try to wake up, but it didn’t really help.

Later that night, I had a surprise visit from two friends of mine, Ashley & Cedric.
They both used to look after me for awhile, and we’ve stayed friends. My Wife & I even attended their Wedding a few years ago, which was pretty fun.
Anyways, I hung out with them for about an hour, which woke me up, and cheered me up.

Thanks guys

I was pretty tired by the time I went to Bed, so I slept like a baby.

Personally, I never understood that saying.
Babies poop, pee, and usually cry & scream at night. I don’t cry & scream, but ok whatever.

Anyways, the next day, I stayed home, but hung out with my Wife that night.

Saturday was a very busy day for us, but we had a blast.

Our first stop was Expresso Cafe, so I could grab an Espresso.
From there, we headed to La Petite Mort Gallery, which is a small Art Gallery in Ottawa.
They’re running an Exhibit, and my Wife knows one of the featured Artists.

Things got interesting.
A few days ago, I emailed the Gallery to see if they were Wheelchair Accessible.
The guy said they had a Ramp, but it was stored in the Basement, and to let them know when I was coming, and they’d get it out.

Well, they put the Ramp out for me when we arrived. It looked pretty steep though, and I didn’t want to try.
The Guy brought out two Sculptures which were made by my Wife’s friend.
One happened to be a Penis, and the other one was a Vagina. So there I was in the middle of the Sidewalk with a Penis & a Vagina on my tray. The whole time, we’re just talking away about them.

After a few minutes, we headed off.
Special thanks to the people at La Petite Mort Gallery for showing me those pieces.

From there, my Wife and I went into a few Stores in the Market on our way to get Gelato.

After the Gelato, we headed to the Rideau Centre for a bit.
My Wife bought me a Starbucks Card, and put $10 on it.

We headed home for a bit to rest up before we headed to the Greekfest.

We arrived there shortly before The Zorba Show.
The Zorba Show is where people dance, break plates and glasses while getting drunk on Ouzo, which is Greek Booze.
I should also mention that part of the show involves them dancing in the middle of a fire circle.
It’s insane!

Speaking of Ouzo, I had three shots of it, and it’s pretty good, perhaps too good.

After the show, they invited everyone to dance, and sure enough we did.

At one point, I got stuck in the middle of a dance circle, so I just started dancing while I was in it. I wish I got that on Video though. It was pretty funny.

Trying to dance while driving a 500 pound Wheelchair is pretty hard, especially after having three shots of Ouzo, but I managed to avoid running anyone over.

We headed home awhile later, but we had a blast though.
OPA!

As for today, I had Coffee with my Wife. She tried to make Espresso with her Espresso Maker, but it tasted more like Coffee. It was still pretty good.

After that, I did Laundry.
Tonight, I’m heading out to watch WWE Summerslam.

As for this Week, besides the Meeting on Tuesday Morning, no real plans.
My Sister & Nephew arrive on Thursday, but I probably won’t see them until Saturday Morning.

I might go to the Ex on Thursday. The Ex is our annual Fair.

That’s about it.

On Wednesday, I went to see my Respirologist to tell him about my recent Lung blockages.

Long story short, I’ll be getting a Chest X-Ray next Week, and he suggested for me to start using my Humidifier at home again.

I’m not a fan of using the Humidifier because last time I used it, I got sick. I got sick because Water kept getting into my Lungs, which isn’t really a good thing.

At this point though, I’m willing to try aything.
I’m going back to see him on June 16th.

While I was in his Office, we went through all of my old Chest X-Rays.
X-Rays have always interested me, even as a Kid. I think it’s cool looking at your own insides.
I gotta say though, my X-Rays always look really freaky because of the way my body is shaped.

In other news.
I’ve been using my Voice Amp wherever I go now, and it seems to be successful.
If I go to a Restaurant or Bar, I can actually order a Drink myself, which is a new experience for me.
I always had trouble ordering stuff due to it being loud, so whoever was with me would usually give the Waiter/Waitress my order.

Wrestling fans:
Tune into WWE Smackdown, and you might see my Wife and/or I on it with our sign for Kofi Kingston. The sign is on green paper, with a picture of Kofi Kingston jumping, and in big letters, it says BOOM BOOM BOOM.
If they show it, you can’t really miss it.

It’s a long weekend here.
My Wife & I will be at the grand Reopening of the Museum Of Nature tomorrow.
They spent a crapload of time and money renovating it, so we’re looking forward to seeing all the work they did.

I have an interesting story about that place.
The first time I went there as a Kid, I didn’t know they had Models of Dinosaurs & Dinosaur Bones.
As soon as I entered the Exhibit Room, I actually crapped my Pants because I was scared.
They had to take me to the Bathroom to change me.
I remember one of the guys had his Jaw wired shut due to Surgery, and he was scared of throwing up, so he left pretty fast.

I’ve been back since and everything was fine. I was still scared, but nothing has happened since that day.
Just to add to that challenge, I’ll be going on a Ghost Tour of the Building later that night too.
Hopefully, everything will be fine.

Well that’s it for now.
Have a good Weekend.

On Tuesday, my Wife & I attended a LIVE Taping of WWE Smackdown.
This was my first one in at least 6 or 7 years, and this was my Wife’s first time at a LIVE WWE Event.
In all honesty, she was a Trooper about the whole thing.
She even made a Sign for it.

If I knew how to post a pic here, I would, but I forget.

Anyways…
I considered writing Spoilers for this Week’s Smackdown, & Superstars shows for various Wrestling Websites, but I can’t write stuff down, and I actually wanted to enjoy the show.

So, I’ll just discuss what we did, because frankly, this is my Blog, and I’m hoping you’re interested.

Even though the show wasn’t starting until 6:45 pm, I wanted to get there early to see if I could meet some of the Wrestlers as they arrived.

We got to the Scotiabank Place around 2:30, and we headed to the back of the Arena.
By the time we got there, a few were already there with the same idea.
We took a few pics, including one with me holding a fake Title Belt that a guy paid $300 for.

As it turned out, I only got to meet one person, and he no longer wrestles.
I met the Host of WWE NXT, and Smackdown Commentator, Matt Striker.
He was really nice. We took a pic together, and then did an Autograph for me.

We left that Area around 4, and headed to the Y to use the Bathroom.
I’ve met a few Wrestlers there before, so we waited around for a bit before heading back outside to the back.
Still, no luck, and after awhile, we gave up.

We headed to the front of the Arena.
We noticed that The Score (Sports TV Channel) was having a Trivia Game.
Being a fan of free stuff, I went for it.

My Wife spun the Wheel for me.
As luck would have it, it landed on a Sports question, instead of a question about WWE.
I was kinda worried cause I’m not really a Sports Buff, but I didn’t give up.

The guy asked “How often is the World Cup held?”.
I responded “Every four years” which is the right answer.
I walked away with a The Score Water Bottle and a grin on my face.
From there, we headed inside.

Our first stop was the Souvenir Stand.
I wasn’t sure what to buy. I wanted a shirt, but nothing overly embarassing.
In the end, I bought a Rey Mysterio TShirt, & my Wife got a Kofi Kingston Necklace.

By this time, my Wife wanted to eat, so we headed to Bert’s.
I decided to just get a Beer, and my Wife had a Wrap or something.
By the time we were done, it was show time.

Once we were seated, I was REALLY surprised at how small everything was.
Normally, when I go to a WWE Event, I get Floor Seats, which is awesome.
I didn’t bother trying to do that this time, so we sat in the 200 Level.

I still had a good view, but I’m definitely gonna try to get Floor Seats next time.

The Show ended just before 10:30 pm, and my ride wasn’t scheduled for thirty minutes.

The place cleared out pretty fast, and we were one of the few left.
We didn’t get home until 12:30 am.

All in all, we were gone 10 and a half hours.
It made for a very long day, but I had fun though.

I really hope that they show my sign this Week on Friday Night Smackdown.
A friend of mine told me that she could see my sign from her Seat on the floor.
Hopefully the Cameras saw it too.

I didn’t feel like posting yesterday because I wasn’t feeling that great.
Not that I’m feeling any better today, but I felt like I needed to write here.

As the title reads, I’m deeply frustrated, about my health.
Every day now, at some point, I’m experiencing problems breathing.
While it can be really scary at times, it’s also frustrating as hell.
Instead of being able to go outside and do stuff, it completely zaps my energy and my desire to do anything.
It seems all I want to do is curl into a ball and just enjoy the amount of air that I can get.

The crappy part is that I have tons of stuff coming up.

— Some of my Wife’s Family’s coming this Weekend.
— My Wife & I are heading to WWE Smackdown on Tuesday.
— In between those things, I’m training new Attendants as well.
— Deal with new Attendants working alone, which can be stressful.
— Plus, I also have to meet with Staff at Bluesfest soon to discuss Wheelchair Accessibility, as I’ve been doing for the past few years now.
— Canada Day, July 1st.
— Bluesfest in July.

Did I mention that my sanity has to remain intact for most of those things?

Now it’s time for some good news…

I’m happy to report that this Saturday, the Host of LOL will be discussing me.
I’m not exactly sure what he’ll say, but I’ve sent him a few things related to my Comedy.
You can catch the show on CBC Radio One, this Saturday at 6:30 pm Eastern.
To find out how to tune in and check it out, please go to http://www.cbc.ca/laughoutloud/ for more information.
If you can’t catch the original broadcast, it will be on the CBC site shortly after the show ends.

Congratulations to the Montreal Canadiens on beating the Pittsburgh Penguins.

My #1 Hockey Team is the Ottawa Senators, but since we’re out, I’m cheering for Montreal.
I was a huge Habs fan when I was a kid, and I actually met many of the Players.
I met Patrick Roy, Guy Charbonneau, Chris Nylan, and many others.

Well that’s it for now.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day Weekend.

On Sunday, my Wife and I went Shopping and I managed to buy two pairs of Pants for $50. I think that’s a pretty good deal.

Today, (Monday) my Wife and I checked out the Labor Day Parade here in Ottawa. Neither of us have ever been to it or even really heard about it before, so we were both curious.

Basically, it was different Workers being pissed off about unfair treatment at work. I always thought Parades were supposed to have happy people celebrating, but apparently not.

After they passed us, we decided to head to the Park where the Parade ended. There was a free BBQ, but we didn’t eat. We stayed for a few minutes just to check it out. The BBQ was at McNabb Park, where I used to go as a kid for Day Camp. I haven’t been there for 20 years, even though I pass by it often on the way home.

By this time, I was starting to melt like a Cripsicle (Crip Popsicle), so we decided to get an Iced Coffee. We went to Tim Horton’s, but they don’t make it. They just have Ice Caps, which don’t exactly agree with me. I guess the idea of putting Ice Cubes in Coffee is a wacky idea at Tim Horton’s. Just like the idea of hiring Staff there that can be understood, also seems like a pretty wacky idea.

But hey, I’m unemployed, what do I know?

We continued our journey in search of Caffinated Heaven, and we found Starbucks.

Ah Starbucks

Starbucks, Starfucks
The first Coffee Shop, I see opened today.
I wish I may.
I wish I might.
Need a Gasoline filled Coffee made just right.

We got an Iced Coffee and had it outside.
Afterwards, we headed down behind The Supreme Court Building to soak up some more sun.

We headed home shortly afterwards.
All in all, we were out in the sun for over three hours.

Tonight, I’m gonna watch WWE Monday Night Raw.
Tonight’s special guest Host is none other than Bob Barker!

That’s gonna be odd to see, but hopefully he does a good job.

I admit that I still watch The Price Is Right, even though Drew Carey’s the Host.
It just isn’t the same without Bob Barker, but at least it isn’t Rosie O’Donnell.
She was rumoured at one point to replace Bob Barker.
Yikes!

Well, tomorrow I’m off to Walmart, which is always fun beyond belief.

That’s it for now.

Thanks for reading.

Last night, I headed to a nearby Restaurant to check out the accessibility.
It didn’t start off too well.

The Restaurant is on the top floor of a Hotel.
You gotta take the Elevator all the way up to the floor below it, have someone walk upstairs, get a key or grab someone with a key, come back downstairs to bring me upstairs.

It’s a retarded setup, but my Wife and I are going there to celebrate tomorrow night.
This could be interesting, but hopefully everything will go well.

As promised, tomorrow, I will be sharing the story of how I proposed to my Wife three years ago in Toronto.

After the Restaurant thing, I headed to the Grocery Store to help out my Wife.
To my surprise, she had just finished her Shopping, so we walked home together.
I spent some time at her place before heading home to watch WWE Monday Night Raw.

America’s Got Talent is on tonight. I’m not gonna predict who’s performing tonight, but I’m looking forward to it.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a full recap, my marriage proposal story, and perhaps a few other things as well.

Thanks for reading.

Last night, I did Laundry and helped my Wife with Grocery Shopping. I like to push the Cart around & then I carry her bags home. Yes, even disabled people can help able bodied people. I put the handy in Handicapped. Alot of people look at me and seem amused that I can push a Cart with my feet & legs.
I’ve got mad skills.

Tonight, we’re gonna watch America’s Got Talent.

After I did my post yesterday, I thought of more questions for the Q & A, so here’s some more.

What’s your favorite food?

BS Answer: I eat power pellets like Pacman.

Truth: I have a hard time chewing food, so I usually drink Ensure & Isosource. Basically, they’re meals in a can, or as I call it, shit in a can. When I was younger, I used to eat pureed Hospital food. If you’ve ever seen or had Pureed Green Peas, you know why I choose to eat from a can now.

Occasionally, I enjoy eating soft foods like Ice Cream, Yogurt, Popsicles, Gelato, Chocolate anything, Creme Brulee, Cake, Pancakes, etc etc etc

What TV shows do you watch?

BS Answer: Informercials! Lots & lots of Infomercials!

Truth: I’m a big fan of Family Guy, The Simpsons, & South Park. I also watch CSI, CSI: New York, Law & Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory, Two & A Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE Friday Night Smackdown, & many others.

What Music do you listen to?

BS Answer: I LOVE Elevator Music & sometimes I dance to the beats of people farting.

Truth: I like different types of Music. It depends on my mood. Mostly, I’m a Rock guy, but sometimes I listen to Blues or Jazz. One of my guilty pleasures is watching Music Videos from the 80s on my TV. It’s cheesy as hell, but HILARIOUS, and brings back memories.

What kind of Movies do you like?

BS Answer: Porn! I’m a huge Perv for Porn. I’m Pervy for Porn, baby!

Truth: I’m a big fan of Comedies. I have so many favorite Movies that it’s not even funny.

Do you drink and/or do drugs?

BS Answer: Well I snort two lines of Metamucil every day. That’s why I’m such a happy person now.

Truth: While I enjoy the odd Beer or Wine, my drinking days are behind me. As for Drugs, yeah I’ve done Drugs in the past, but that’s behind me too. Basically, I managed to quit both cold turkey, which was really tough to do.

When’s your Birthday?

BS Answer: I don’t really have one because I was made in a Factory.

Truth: January 4th.

What’s your opinion of the Internet & Social Networking?

BS Answer: If I can get free Porn, bring it on!

Truth: I LOVE the Internet & Social Networking. It gives disabled people a bigger & better chance to be seen & heard. I don’t always understand how certain sites or things work, but I have a big online pressence, and I plan on expanding that, as much as I can.

What’s the story, morning glory?

BS Answer: A stupid name for a CD.

Truth: How the hell would I know? Ask Oasis & let me know what Noel said after he punches you.

What’s your goal in life?

BS Answer: I want to solve World Hunger.

Truth: This is gonna sound selfish, but I want to be famous Worldwide. I don’t care if it’s a Movie, a Talk Show, a TV show cameo, or a Commercial, I want to be famous. I was actually in a Movie/Interactive DVD Video Game a few years ago, which was pretty fun. The “set” was right near where I live. I played a bad guy, which was the main reason why I signed up for it. Sadly, I don’t think it ever got released.

Besides that, I’d love to live in a Wheelchair Accessible House with my Wife. It’d probably be a two bedroom. Of course, the Basement would be like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, or close to it.

What’s the meaning of life?

BS Answer: Well, Life is a Cereal apparently, so it’s tasty.

Truth: Life’s too short to even consider that. Life is what YOU want it to be. Have fun, gamble, drink, do drugs, work, sleep, be rich, be poor. Whatever your life consists of, enjoy it, and have fun. It’s a big plus if you can make a difference in a someone’s life, but you don’t HAVE to. As long as you’re enjoying it, nobody gets hurts, & you’re not doing too many illegal things, that’s what life should mean.

That’s it for now, I’m all tapped out.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a recap of America’s Got Talent.

Thanks for reading.
