On Saturday, my Wife & I headed out for Ice Cream.

As I headed home, my hands started getting cold.
When that happens, my hands become weak, and eventually I can’t do anything.

By the time, I got near my place, my Attendant had to use the Joystick, so I could get home.
Besides a few mishaps along the way, we made it back.
I was hoping that my Joystick would be easier to use when that happens, but sadly, no.

So, it looks like I’ll have to go back to the old drawing board, unless we can figure something else out with this Joystick.

More wacky fun lies ahead.

On Sunday, my Wife made me Coffee.
There was no way in hell that I was going out after what happened the night before, plus it was bad Weather.
My Back was sore from the night before, so my Wife gave me a wonderful Back Massage.
The reason why my Back hurt was because by the time I got home on Saturday, I was really low in my Chair, which is really hard on my Back.

Luckily, I felt better after my Wife took good care of me on Sunday Night.

I have no official plans until Thursday.
Thursday is Canada Day, so my Wife & I will probably be out and about.

Last year, we went to Parliament Hill for the Noon time show.
We had pretty good seats, so we were on TV quite a bit.
We also got to meet the Prime Minister, and the Governor General.

This year, the Queen’s coming.
I really don’t understand why Canada’s still connected to the British.
I mean, Canada’s turning 143 years old, isn’t it time for us to move out from our Parent’s Basement?

To be honest, I wouldn’t mind meeting the Queen.
If I meet her, I’d ask why British people have bad teeth.
My Dad’s British, and well, he’s just not easy to look at.

Besides that, I have no real plans.

On Saturday, I spent the rest of the day watching movies.
This is what I watched:

The Bucket List
Donnie Darko
Funny People
Dumb & Dumber.

I had seen them all at least once before, but when the weather’s crappy outside, watching movies is fine.
I still haven’t seen Iron Man 2 yet, but perhaps I’ll go sometime this week or weekend.

After a lazy day on Saturday, I was hoping to get out on Sunday, and I certainly did.

My Wife & I attended Westfest, which is a Street Festival, held in Westboro, which is in the west end of Ottawa.
We’ve been going for the past few years now.

They have different businesses/stores open, plus live Entertainment.
We stopped off at an Optometrist’s office, an Ice Cream Store, Outdoors Store & a Coffee Shop.
The rest of the time was spent walking up & down the street getting free stuff.

After we were done, my Wife showed me more of Westboro.
This was actually my first time in the other part of the area.

We started off at another Outdoors Store.
For some reason, I always feel out of place in those places.
At one point, I parked my Chair right beside the Bikes.
I was thinking that someone might try to test drive me, or buy me, but no.

From there, we headed to a HUGE Grocery Store.
My Wife had to get a few things.
We ended up getting off on the wrong floor, and were in the rafters of the Grocery Store.
I kinda got to thinking of turning up my Voice Amp just to see if I could mess with people down below, but I didn’t.

Maybe next time.
You never know where or when I’ll show up.
Just look up to the rafters and you might see me.

Afterwards, we continued our walk, and ended up at a Vegetarian Restaurant, called The Table. I had a Chocolate Fudge Pudding, which was pretty good.

Besides the Bathroom being tricky to get in & out of for me, it’s a pretty nice place actually.

By this time, it was almost 8, so we wanted to head home.

We hopped on an OC Transpo Bus, which was interesting.
The Driver was a Woman probably in her 60’s who quite obviously had a hard time driving the Bus.
Also, the front doors kept opening & closing as the Bus was moving.
To top it off, when we reached our stop, she stopped roughly. My head went forward & back, but luckily, I wasn’t hurt.

Another wacky journey on public transit.

After we got home, I posted the pictures on Facebook, and that was it.

So yesterday, I ate or drank:
Water
Iced Tea
Chocolate & Mandarin Ice Cream
Espresso
Chocolate Fudge Pudding

All I can say is, well, wish me luck.

It’s cold & raining off & on today, so I’m just staying home.

In other news…
I have two Appointments this week.

On Wednesday, I’m seeing my Respirologist to discuss the results of my Chest X-Ray. They already called and everything appears to be ok, but I still want to see it for myself.
Luckily, I haven’t had any breathing broblems for a few weeks now.
I’ve been using a Humidifier when I sleep, and it seems to be helping.

On Thursday, I have an Appointment to try out my new Joystick for my Wheelchair. I think I’ll be taking it home to try it out for a little while. Hopefully, I don’t get hurt, or hurt others.

So the last few posts have been about America’s Got Talent. Now, I’m gonna write about my life, for the next few days.

So my Wife got back to Ottawa on Wednesday, along with her 10 year old Niece from Halifax.

We spent Wednesday Evening together playing the game, Trouble. I’m sure most of you know about the game, so I won’t go into details, except that I won. After that, I headed back home for the night.

On Thursday, we headed to the Central Canada Exhibition, which is a yearly Fair.
We walked around a bit, fed some Animals.
The rest of the time, they went on rides.
As some of you know, I’ve been on a few rides, but I didn’t feel like doing it this year.
I headed home shortly after that.

A few hours later, the girls returned home and we got to hang out together.
We ate Ice Cream, played Sorry, and then we watched Marley & Me.

In case you haven’t seen it, it stars Owen Wilson & Jennifer Aniston as a Couple. They get a Dog named Marley, who’s extremely hyper all the time and always getting into trouble.
Eventually, Marley gets old and sick, and the Family has to make a very imortant decision about the fate of Marley.

It’s a good movie, but pretty sad, especially for a kid’s movie.
At least, it’s realistic.

There’s a lack of realism in movies today. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure Shrek is 100% realistic.

Right?

Anyways, that was my Thursday night.

As for today.
Today hasn’t exactly been a good day. Soon after I woke up, I received a phone call informing me that my trip to Montreal has to be cancelled.

The reason is that the Staff person (Attendant) that was supposed to come with me had a Root Canal and got an infection in her mouth. Nobody else is availiable to take me.

As of right now, the plan is to HOPEULLY be able to go next Sunday. It all depends on if there’s no other Wheelchairs on that Train. Via Rail only only has room for one Wheelchair on its Trains. It MIGHT be two, but my Wheelchair is pretty wide.

They definitely need more spots for Wheelchairs.
This isn’t the 50s anymore, Crips like to get out of Town sometimes.
Why?
Cause that’s how we roll, baby!

One good thing has happened to me today. I was able to go to the Bank to deposit money, which is always a good thing.
Just to make sure, I didn’t have too much fun doing that, it rained the whole time I was out.

So my Wife’s Niece is leaving later today. I’m gonna miss her. It was nice having her around for a few days. She’s a great kid and has fed me Ice Cream two different times now, and even Wine. It’s never too soon to teach kids that even they can help a Disabled person out.

I guess I could say that I like kids in small doses.

Well that’s it for now.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to go to Montreal next Sunday.

I hope you all have a good weekend out there.
Thanks for reading.

Last night, I did Laundry and helped my Wife with Grocery Shopping. I like to push the Cart around & then I carry her bags home. Yes, even disabled people can help able bodied people. I put the handy in Handicapped. Alot of people look at me and seem amused that I can push a Cart with my feet & legs.
I’ve got mad skills.

Tonight, we’re gonna watch America’s Got Talent.

After I did my post yesterday, I thought of more questions for the Q & A, so here’s some more.

What’s your favorite food?

BS Answer: I eat power pellets like Pacman.

Truth: I have a hard time chewing food, so I usually drink Ensure & Isosource. Basically, they’re meals in a can, or as I call it, shit in a can. When I was younger, I used to eat pureed Hospital food. If you’ve ever seen or had Pureed Green Peas, you know why I choose to eat from a can now.

Occasionally, I enjoy eating soft foods like Ice Cream, Yogurt, Popsicles, Gelato, Chocolate anything, Creme Brulee, Cake, Pancakes, etc etc etc

What TV shows do you watch?

BS Answer: Informercials! Lots & lots of Infomercials!

Truth: I’m a big fan of Family Guy, The Simpsons, & South Park. I also watch CSI, CSI: New York, Law & Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory, Two & A Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE Friday Night Smackdown, & many others.

What Music do you listen to?

BS Answer: I LOVE Elevator Music & sometimes I dance to the beats of people farting.

Truth: I like different types of Music. It depends on my mood. Mostly, I’m a Rock guy, but sometimes I listen to Blues or Jazz. One of my guilty pleasures is watching Music Videos from the 80s on my TV. It’s cheesy as hell, but HILARIOUS, and brings back memories.

What kind of Movies do you like?

BS Answer: Porn! I’m a huge Perv for Porn. I’m Pervy for Porn, baby!

Truth: I’m a big fan of Comedies. I have so many favorite Movies that it’s not even funny.

Do you drink and/or do drugs?

BS Answer: Well I snort two lines of Metamucil every day. That’s why I’m such a happy person now.

Truth: While I enjoy the odd Beer or Wine, my drinking days are behind me. As for Drugs, yeah I’ve done Drugs in the past, but that’s behind me too. Basically, I managed to quit both cold turkey, which was really tough to do.

When’s your Birthday?

BS Answer: I don’t really have one because I was made in a Factory.

Truth: January 4th.

What’s your opinion of the Internet & Social Networking?

BS Answer: If I can get free Porn, bring it on!

Truth: I LOVE the Internet & Social Networking. It gives disabled people a bigger & better chance to be seen & heard. I don’t always understand how certain sites or things work, but I have a big online pressence, and I plan on expanding that, as much as I can.

What’s the story, morning glory?

BS Answer: A stupid name for a CD.

Truth: How the hell would I know? Ask Oasis & let me know what Noel said after he punches you.

What’s your goal in life?

BS Answer: I want to solve World Hunger.

Truth: This is gonna sound selfish, but I want to be famous Worldwide. I don’t care if it’s a Movie, a Talk Show, a TV show cameo, or a Commercial, I want to be famous. I was actually in a Movie/Interactive DVD Video Game a few years ago, which was pretty fun. The “set” was right near where I live. I played a bad guy, which was the main reason why I signed up for it. Sadly, I don’t think it ever got released.

Besides that, I’d love to live in a Wheelchair Accessible House with my Wife. It’d probably be a two bedroom. Of course, the Basement would be like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, or close to it.

What’s the meaning of life?

BS Answer: Well, Life is a Cereal apparently, so it’s tasty.

Truth: Life’s too short to even consider that. Life is what YOU want it to be. Have fun, gamble, drink, do drugs, work, sleep, be rich, be poor. Whatever your life consists of, enjoy it, and have fun. It’s a big plus if you can make a difference in a someone’s life, but you don’t HAVE to. As long as you’re enjoying it, nobody gets hurts, & you’re not doing too many illegal things, that’s what life should mean.

That’s it for now, I’m all tapped out.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a recap of America’s Got Talent.

Thanks for reading.
